Company
owner, Dan Mosher grew up in the greater Skowhegan area, he is a graduate of
Skowhegan High School and the Somerset Career & Technical Center for
Construction, as well as a graduate of Northern Maine Community College with
a degree in Residential Construction. Dan was hired and worked for a local,
prominent construction company while attending NMCC and continued working
for the local business as a carpenter for several years following
graduation.
Life took Dan on a different path. For many years he worked his way up from
Heavy Equipment Delivery to Corporate Manager in Information Technology for
United Rentals Inc. During his absence from full time construction
employment he continued to use his carpentry skills, building and
remodeling for family and the occasional client. The culmination of his 20 +
year of experience has lead him back to carpentry full time. Dan continues
to cultivate strong ties with former employers, employees, and co-workers
alike.
Together with his wife Dan started C & D Mosher, LLC. Dan is experienced in
all aspects of carpentry, paint, drywall, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry,
tile, and flooring. He takes pride in his business; extensive planning and preparation goes into every job
and he personally oversees every project. He finds finish carpentry very
rewarding, and the knowledge of his clients satisfaction continues to
motivate him. Dan takes pride in fact that most of his company’s work is the
result of word of mouth referrals and repeat customers. He believes that
hard work and strong ethics are the foundations of business. He believes that these are the
tools that have contributed to the success of C & D Mosher.
Dan has been happily married for 19 years to his wife and business partner
Christeen. Christeen has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
Management with a concentration in Small Business Ownership; together they
have 2 boys Talon and Ryan, and two dogs Zeus and Apollo.
